The CEO Selection Process
Every August, Bnuel Initiative calls for submissions of business proposals aligned with our listed industries. Entrepreneurs who have participated in the monthly Bnuel Challenges are encouraged to apply. Proposals will undergo thorough auditing, followed by interviews with shortlisted candidates. The top 5 business ideas will be selected, and the entrepreneurs behind these proposals will be appointed as CEOs of their chosen businesses.
The Role of the CEO
Each selected CEO will be responsible for piloting their business towards measurable success. While the Bnuel Initiative provides the business blueprint, market strategies, and finances, it is the CEO’s responsibility to execute the strategy, lead operations, and meet predefined targets within a 12-month period.
- First Year: CEOs will be required to meet specific performance milestones, achieving at least a 20-30% profit margin.
- Second Year: CEOs who succeed in their first year will move on to a higher target of 35% profit growth.
- Third Year: If successful, the target will rise to 40%, leading to eventual permanence on the executive board of the initiative.
If at any point a CEO fails to meet their targets, they may be removed from the position.

Bnuel Monthly Challenge
The Bnuel Monthly Challenge is an essential part of the Initiative. It challenges participants to engage with critical questions surrounding ideas, purpose, vision, and innovation.
At the end of each month, a critical thinking question is posed to the participants, and winners are financially rewarded. This serves as a pipeline to identify high-potential entrepreneurs who may be groomed for leadership roles within the Initiative.
