FOUNDER'S
LETTER
I am a proud Nigerian from the southeastern (Enugu State) region of the country, and I grew up in an environment where education had little value. In my community, the joblessness wasn't confined to the youth—many parents, uncles, and older family members were also unemployed, living in a country filled with untapped ideas and aspirations.
Nigeria, like much of Africa, is a country where the youth are brimming with innovative ideas. Our young people are eager to grow and create change. However, they often lack the leadership, mentorship, and guidance to turn these ideas into action. This lack of direction has left so many dreams to wither, and potential leaders to remain stagnant.
Africa is a land blessed with immense natural and human resources. We have brilliant minds, unmatched creativity, and a deep desire to rise above our circumstances. However these aspirations are too often stifled by environmental limitations—poverty, poor governance, lack of access to quality education, and a social structure that does not support the dreams of our youth.
I founded Bnuel Foundation in 2020 with one goal in mind: to provide the leadership and mentorship that I once longed for in my community. It is a call to arms—a mission to build hope where there is despair, and to restore dignity and opportunity to our youth. My quest to eradicate poverty, mental ignorance, and academic negligence has been the driving force behind Bnuel Foundation.
I graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and pursued an MSc in Peace and Conflict at Enugu State University of Science and Technology, before an MSc in International Business at Aston University, United Kingdom.
My academic journey fueled my desire to create meaningful change in the lives of Nigerian and African youths. I saw firsthand how education and opportunity could transform lives. This is a call not just to provide scholarships or skills, but to ignite the dreams and visions of every young African. We want to develop the business-oriented, inspire the academically inclined, and create jobs for the jobless. Through these efforts, we are building a society that reduces crime, increases opportunity, and contributes positively to our economy in line with SDG goals.
Bnuel Foundation focuses on teenagers because we believe it is more profitable to build children than to fix broken men. The teenage years are critical for shaping one's mindset, values, and aspirations. We aim to empower African teenagers to think big, dream big, and take practical steps towards realizing their potential. Whether through scholarships, skill acquisition programs, or career guidance, our work is dedicated to building the future leaders of Africa.
We are committed to raising a generation of job creators, not job seekers; to fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation among young Africans. This is more than just a vision—it is a movement, one that seeks to transform our communities and, ultimately, the world. Together, we can build a future where every child has access to education, every youth has the opportunity to develop their talents, and every dream has the potential to become a reality. Thank you for supporting Bnuel Foundation. Let us continue to create hope, nurture ideas, and transform Africa, one child at a time.
Sincerely,
Chukwuebuka Emmanuel Founder,
